Kara Ratley brings over 20 years of real estate experience to Sela Real Estate Services, where she serves as Broker-in-Charge. She co-founded Sela Real Estate Services with her husband Phillip, who runs their construction company, Sela Building Corp.

In October 2020, William Ratley, Kara and Phillip's son,  joined the team as a licensed realtor — and together they've grown their services from the North Carolina foothills to Lake Gaston and Littleton. Kara believes real estate is about people and she brings that same care to every client relationship. When she's not working, you'll find her with family or chasing sand and surf somewhere along the coast.

William graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International and Comparative Politics. Before attending ASU, he played two years of college football as an offensive lineman at Campbell University. Growing up around the construction industry as Philip’s son, William started at Sela upon graduation and has spent the last five years learning the construction business. Outside of work, William enjoys hiking/backpacking trips, flying and being in nature.
